Nvidia is not a software company. They use software to help in their hardware design. Palantir and Microsoft are the software companies. So if you want to focus on AI tech then Nvidia is not a good choice for AI growth approach.

To complete the picture 1st the bot should collect news Yahoo finance or any other trusted source not X for example learning from news is very important part. 2nd allow the bot for fast trading something we call it scalping. (He will love it) 3rd allow him to buy/sell you need to add TP % SL buying/selling on a breakout or daily high/low was easy script. After all that you'll need to adjust numbers. Leaving M1 this week. I have had so many issues with this platform and when you try to get support, it is cookie cutter responses or crickets. When you call in on the financial services, you get someone in India that cannot answer your questions. Personally, I think M1 has a nice platform for investing but if there is an issue, I really don't like the lack of support.

So, Palantir down 14% today on weak full year earnings. I'm no oracle but I like Nvidia because up or down, I'm always left with the most growth, best earnings, widest moat, lowest FPE and total market leadership. Finally they've got a visionary for a CEO. Maybe that's why so many "articles by the oracles" end with, "and it's not Nvidia". They know not what they do.

I am sure you have plenty of ideas seeing what you opened up here ;) The route which seemed to be sort of my end point, you mentioned your manual approach - checking news. In theory, this could also be an additional data source to produce a sentiment variable out of - as too API pulls of X, FB etc data on keywords related to the industry, competitors etc... The time frame of the trading is also something which would have me think of producing multiple bots to tackle ranged timeframe analysis, to pull data out of weekly, daily, hourly and so on data points. I was exploring similar with KuCoin API's up to the point where regardless of what data I could make out of the available data - things happen out there which are not visible in the graphs/charts/numbers - lots of other data points externally which without, makes it just gambling (in the crypto scene at least more so). At best, having something keeping an eye on your stocks/coins, and reporting back to us via maybe telegram for example, to give us the decision based on the break down of many data points in to that what we would need to make a decision. AGI can advise, can conjour up some formulated approaches towards limit order triggers and placements as well as more specific data overview of assets over that what the exchange app gives us in basic account set ups. As your whiteboard - so mine, FUN... plus learning. I didn't utilize a LLM directly - I think the next fun one would be have a local LLM loaded for specific topics, with memory - multiple mini focused bots, interfacing directly with my IDE and maybe even some of the OS - on voice command... then we talking :D And you got there so quickly, albeit using paid services, makes me wonder what one more year will bring, let alone the next 40... Great idea to go the path of visual analysis though, super interesting. Order books as well, in real time - uff, gets way more interesting there as you can sort of read a type of sentiment - just when you look long enough and close enough, you see there is manipulation very likely going on there too, making it just a twist on the gamble element again. Whales wallet movements, tracking large transfers, liquification ranges, pump and dump catching... just so many very specific arms which could be deployed to better the odds of the gamble - at the end of the day, still the same thing though as everywhere these days - someone else has an upper hand big time over it all, and we are at their whims. Plus, like driving, you can be the best driver in the world but it takes one idiot to cause an accident and there are plenty of idiots out there - the type of trader out there, the mass of them who follow influencers or mainstream or fall for faked news on their assets - their mass can shift things drastically in both directions. Almost need to keep the pulse of a different group mindset than what I have myself. Something of a 'culture' in various forms. Another data point potential - the masses are heading left... follow or go another way? etc...

You have to first set a goal for the reason WHY you want to buy a COMPANY not just a stock. The reason why folks can't build wealth is because they hop from one stoock to the next, thinking that is going to make them rich. WRONG. What you need is CONCENTRATIOn and focus in no more than 6 companies. The company does not even have to be a top company but you do need to concentrate your capital.
